So I finally arrived in Niagara Falls after about 13 hours of traveling. (I had to catch 3 different buses from Montreal!) I had about 4 hours until I was able to check-in so I decided to head out to do the ‘Olympic Torch Run Legacy Trail’. A lovely, peaceful trail with plenty of squirrels following along! I then walked to Clifton Hill (a colourful, tourist promenade filled with chain restaurants, cheap souvenir shops, video arcades and of course, amusement rides.

The next morning, I walked a few different nature trails (including the ‘Whirlpool Trail’ and ‘White Water Walk’) and stopped by Souvenir City. In the afternoon, I did a few more trails – including one of the best viewpoints to see the Falls! (where most of the cruises/boat trips depart from)

On my last day in Niagara Falls, I went up to the observation floor in the ‘Skylon Tower’ (the Skylon Tower is an observation tower that overlooks both the American Falls and the Canadian Falls, it includes a revolving dining room as well as fast food restaurants and an amusement arcade). Wow…what an experience. I can’t even begin to explain how stunning the views were from the top!
