So I arrived in Burlington, Vermont (a city in northwestern Vermont) around midday. After checking in, I walked about 5 minutes to a small breakfast café to sample their pancakes and of course, Vermont’s speciality: pure maple syrup!

I spent the rest of the day exploring the town centre and Church Street Marketplace, there were all kinds of small, independent boutiques/cafés etc. The local supermarket was more of an organic indoor farmers market…so quaint!

The following day, I took the local bus to South Burlington to explore, including spending quite a while in a Farm shop/local producers market taking advantage of the many free samples!

That afternoon I walked to a nearby chocolate factory, a did the free tour and again, ate lots of samples!
